Announcing the Luminis Books Writing Contest Winner - Joshua Prokopy
In conjuction with the Midwest Writer's Workshop, Luminis Books sponsored the first Luminis Books Writing Contest. The winner was announced at the 2011 Midwest Writer's Workshop on the campus of Ball State University on July 30, 2011. We are pleased to congratulate Joshua Prokopy, this year's winner, for his short story entry, Burmese Tears.
Joshua took a very difficult subject, war and brutality, and transformed it into a beautiful and disturbing story. Luminis is pleased to recognize his talent and to encourage him in his writing.
